Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) composting is a rapidly growing method of solid waste management in the countries world around. MSW includes the residential, commercial, and institutional solid waste generated within a community. MSW generally consists of a mixture of organic compostable materials such as food waste and paper and inert, non-biodegradable materials such as plastics and glass.
What is Trommel Machine?
Trommel machines are vital for the municipal waste and legacy waste segregation in the initial screening process to sort the sizes of solid waste. Trommel screens are used to separate organic and inorganic waste materials to improve the composting process.
Trommel machine consists of trommel screens (cylindrical rotating screen drum) mounted on inclined frame, feeding hopper, belt conveyors for feeding, processing and rejection, and control panel for operating the machine.
